YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

 

• Plan, design, and conduct experimental studies for cell therapy and protein formulations, process development, scale-up, and technology transfer;
• Troubleshoot technical issues that are encountered during development;
• Interpret and effectively communicate complex scientific findings and recommendations in one-on-one discussions, and departmental and cross- functional meetings;
• Author internal and external reports describing accomplished work in Formulation/process development and Final Product Manufacturing.

Required qualifications:

 

• Master's degree in Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, Biophysics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering,or a related field. PHD strongly preferred;
• Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills;
• Experience developing cell therapy and/or protein formulations and manufacturing processes;
• Experience with aseptic handling of materials;
• Broad knowledge of biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, and physical chemistry;
• Strong communication skills (oral and written);
• Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills;
• Ability to work independently within a team environment

 

Preferred experience:

 

• 0-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Cell therapy, gene therapy, or protein formulation experience desired;

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $106,600 to $159,900.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.  This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
