Summary of Job Duties:

The ED Physician Hourly provides direct patient care under the supervision the Medical Director (or designee) of the Department of Emergency Medicine, working at the UAMS Emergency Department. The ED Physician Hourly practices within the Scope of Practice for Certified Paramedics in the State of Arkansas and also within the Department of Nursing Standards. The ED Physician Hourly adheres to UAMS Clinical Programs policies, procedures, standards and guest relations.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or Board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician

• Directs ED patient care coverage.
• Other duties as assigned.
