Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue, and post accurate and timely monthly invoices for FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts to customers using Deltek CostPoint billing module.
- Prepare schedules that support customer-driven reporting requirements.
- Submit accurate and timely invoices through various client portals as necessary.
- Prepare contract closeout billings and collaborate with Contracts and PCO groups to ensure completeness.
- Participate in the contract kick-off meeting, read and understand the terms of the contract and ensure set-up meets contractual requirements.
- Partner with contracts and Program Control Analysts to complete the Project Set-up Form and maintain all necessary records.
- Set up new current projects in CostPoint as necessary to include: entering modifications, contract ceilings, workforce, rates, revenue and billing formula, etc.
- Support audit requests by DCAA, external public auditors, and internal audit as necessary.
- Maintain detailed, well-organized billing files to facilitate smooth audits, contract close-outs, and reconciliations.
- Update Contract Master File with modifications and staffing changes.
- Analyze Aged AR for delinquent payments and contact customers concerning collections.
- Work closely with the Contracts team, PM's and Line Managers on invoicing approvals, questions, and follow-up.
- Reconcile Billed and Unbilled GL accounts on a monthly basis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in accounting and billing
- Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and/or equivalent years of experience.
- CostPoint experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Government contract billing experience

● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $65,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
