Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Apple Store Online is seeking a dynamic, web savvy content management professional to join the Digital Content Management (DCM) Production team. The DCM team maintains and manages all customer facing content on the Apple Store Online as well as the Apple Store App. Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of information and experience presented to Apple’s customers while delivering on the ever-increasing velocity of changes as the Retail digital platform expands into new geographies, languages, and devices. The Content Production Manager will drive the global execution of complex product launches and business initiatives for the Online Store, while leading and motivating specialists that work in our numerous content management systems. This role is part of a large, tight-knit global team, driving high quality results while meeting ambitious deadlines. We are looking for a thoughtful, inclusive and effective leader, deeply detail oriented, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment.
Description
As a Manager on the DCM Production team, you will lead a team of high performing Content Specialists and handle high profile projects that touch content across multiple online platforms and apps worldwide. From leading product launches to marketing initiatives, major feature changes to daily updates, this work will directly impact the experience for millions of Apple customers across the globe who visit the Apple Store Online every single day.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technology, operations, e-commerce and/or customer support organization.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with online content management for both web and mobile platforms.
- A smart and organized problem-solver who exhibits high degree of ownership and accountability and can adapt to constant change and ambiguous situations while simultaneously driving multiple complex projects.
- Able to accommodate flexible work schedule during critical business periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced people manager, 2+ years managing individual contributors with a passion for building and engaging a high performing person/team.
- An open, communicative, and reliable leader who is able to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, organizational leaders, as well as direct reports.
- A quick, technically-minded learner that is willing to roll up their sleeves to grasp the numerous tools and systems used across DCM every day.
- Demonstrated success in business process optimization, developing and driving performance objectives, process improvements, and management systems for the team.
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,500 and $224,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
