Senior Manager, Engineering
As a Sr. Manager, Engineering, you will be leading one or more teams working on diverse projects across multiple regions of the globe. The work will involve a large range of technologies on different types of projects from transformational to customer facing. You will be working in a dynamic environment which is fast paced and requires the ability to react quickly and solve many different types of challenges.

As part of the Match team, you’ll:

• Lead at least one software development team
• Engage with stakeholders on a regular basis
• Represent the team at cross-team meetings and initiatives
• Work with other development teams, SMEs and technical leaders to solve challenging problems/designs
• Help improve how the development teams do their work
• Communicate directly with senior leaders and non-technical staff when needed

About you:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Strong Data Engineering knowledge and skills (e.g. SQL, Spark, ETL, etc.)
• Excellent core Java and particularly server-side Java
• Strong working experience with various database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, HIVE, Redshift, MS-SQL etc.) preferably Oracle
• Must be able to document, present and articulate designs and technical decisions in front of teams and ideally business stakeholders
• Proven technical, problem solving ability
• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field

Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of developing solutions using AWS services
• Ideally have led software development teams
• Working experience with API services, UI development and UI Frameworks would be ideal
