Join Our Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is expanding our 24/7/365 Mobile Crisis Team to better serve our community, and we're seeking a compassionate Part-Time Mobile Crisis Team Responder for All Shifts. As part of a team that responds directly to psychiatric crisis, you will help bridge individuals from crisis to recovery.

Hourly rate for Mobile Crisis Team Responders = $20/Hour

 

Third Shift Differential = $1.00

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


Respond to crisis phone calls, walk-ins on-site, and provide on-site risk assessments within Vanderburgh County.
Complete comprehensive risk assessment, consult with supervisor and/or psychiatrist on-call for recommendations.
Provide follow-up and care coordination for clients served.
Mobile Crisis Team will provide a presence on-site at a specialized crisis shelter to monitor, engage, and coordinate referrals for participants.

Job QualificationsWHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field of study required.  
Experience working with mental health, addiction, and homeless population preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
Commitment to improving access of mental health services in our community.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Candidates must obtain and maintain crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation training. 
Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
