Job Overview

Under the direction of the Associate Vice President, Patient Care Services, the Clinical Accreditation and Regulatory Management Specialist  (CARMS) is responsible for assuring the organization is in a continuous state of Joint Commission readiness and meets all Joint Commission and CMS standards. This position is a system resource and expert for interpretation of standards and regulations.  This professional is responsible for providing consultative services to AltaMed staff and providers toward meeting standards of accreditation and organizational compliance. This includes, but is not limited to providing education to staff on current TJC standards, CMS and other health plan standards.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must have knowledge and experience in Quality Management and Patient Safety standards. Familiarity with DHS, NCQA, The Joint Commission standards and Health Plan requirements.

2. Minimum three to five years experience in health care field related to similar work.

3. State of California Nurse (LVN). Licensure required and CPHQ desirable.

Salary Range

$72,172.96 - $90,216.20 annually
