Job Description

SUMMARY

At Diagraph, we take pride in continuous evolution. We’re searching for a project manager to support our product portfolio with key initiatives. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.

The Project Manager will be responsible for serving as the point of contact for all innovation projects and ensure all projects are on time and all deliverables are met to uphold business initiatives. They will liaison with the engineering, product management, and operations teams to identify project scope, resources and timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create long- and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Serve as the liaison between engineering and operation projects from initiation to close; develop and maintain effective relationships with both departments
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicate with divisional leadership to keep the project aligned with the annual and long range plans
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required

Skills:

  • PMP PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certification strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working in manufacturing required
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proven ability to work effectively on a team
