Summary:

The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for abstracting, analyzing and submitting data to National Data Registries.

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of real-time patient data on all PICU patients. This role ensures the precise entry and management of patient data into the system, supporting the timely and accurate monitoring and decision-making for pediatric critical care. the role conducts monthly reporting to the quality team and physician on quality and entering data to the quality date in the the quality data system.

Responsibilities:

Participates in PI processes to identify and strategize opportunities for improvement.Informs and educates leadership and physicians regarding outcomes reporting nuances and benchmarking.Provides timely, accurate data with the goal of ensuring excellent patient care.Abstracts, validates, analyzes and submits data.
