Job Summary:

Establishes, builds and maintains strategic relationships with physicians, and their office staff, and the organization. Promotes and markets organization's programs and services to physicians and their office staff. Identifies and resolves issues that affect medical staff and the effective delivery of health care. Develops and builds physician loyalty, drives physician engagement and strengthens the organizational-physician relationship.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree in marketing, sales or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Three years' marketing or sales experience: Preferred
  • Clinical experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Implements strategic physician marketing plans and strategies including face to face marketing, advertising, community relations initiatives, internal communications and special events. Understands profitability and sets appropriate marketing tracking mechanisms. Identifies new business opportunities to grow volumes and increase profitability.
  • Participates in the implementation of short and long-term initiatives relating to activities that achieve service line objectives, retention of existing and development of new business. Works with strategically identified physicians to facilitate introductions to organizational physicians and/or programs and services with a focus on building organizational business. Assists with referrals, access and communication.
  • Responds to issues identified by physicians, communicates to appropriate administrator(s), and responds back to the physician. Maintains accurate knowledge of current trends in the healthcare market and physician arena.
  • Maintains accurate knowledge of current trends in the healthcare market and physician arena. Develops regular reports to organizational leadership that summarizes liaison activities and the impact of activities on referral trends.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
