Where You Will Work

Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will perform various metal forming and processing duties on a variety of aerospace fasteners product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and position crew within the cell to perform standard work.
  • Ensure the finished products meet quality standards.
  • Complete day-by-hour tracking.
  • Train machine crew on operations and responsibilities within the work cell.
  • Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
  • Work assigned overtime when necessary.
  • Fill in for absentees
  • Provide feedback to employees regarding their performance.
  • Ability to accurately measure and mix Dry Film Lube components to achieve precise results
  • Load parts into curing oven and monitor temperature and time settings to ensure proper finish
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Previous work experience plating a variety of surface types
  • Understand technique to meet coating and thickness desired
  • Apply coatings and paints to aerospace parts using automated equipment or manual techniques.
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or prepare surfaces for coating.
  • Ensure uniform and defect-free finishes by carefully following process guidelines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications to determine finishing requirements.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
  • Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Follow safety procedures and properly handle hazardous materials, including paints and solvents.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Complete production logs and documentation as required.
  • Work assigned overtime when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

$30-$40/hr.
