Zscaler’s purpose-built security platform puts a company’s defenses and controls where the connections occur—the internet—so that every connection is fast and secure, no matter how or where users connect or where their applications and workloads reside.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>***This job can be worked remotely from any EMEA location where Zscaler has a legal entity***<br/> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities/ What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and deploy our customer facing Linux and BSD based systems infrastructure</li><li>Create and deploy scalable systems and monitoring for massively growing global infrastructure</li><li>Architect and implement automation for management of the cloud</li><li>Contribute to OS packaging and distribution</li><li>Develop, augment and maintain Ops documentation</li><li>Resolve NOC escalations and help prevent reiteration of incidents creating NOC processes, procedures and automation.</li><li>Linux/UNIX system engineering (create and maintain highly scalable solutions</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor or Master Degree and 5+ years experience in a Linux/UNIX System Administration/SysAdmin role</li><li>Comfort and experience with Ops environment growing at a rapid scale</li><li>Hands on experience with immutable infrastructure and using infrastructure as code tools like puppet, chef, Ansible or similar.</li><li>Experience implementing enterprise scale, n-tier solutions with direct client exposure.</li><li>Virtualization (KVM preferred), OpenStack, Cloud Architecture and Services, Automated Deployments, API.</li><li>Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration</li><li>Excellent scripting skills and experience (Bash, Python, Perl, Java) (Python preferred)</li><li>Experience maintaining and deploying systems and software in diverse environments</li><li>Ability to analyze and troubleshoot systems performance</li><li>Strong understanding of web security and protocols HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL</li><li>Network fundamentals DHCP, ARP, Subnetting, Routing, NAT, Firewalls, IPv4 and IPv6</li><li>Strong security aptitude, including PGP, SSH, PKI, DDoS Mitigation, Multi-factor auth</li><li>Monitoring tools  Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to Have Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Platforms: Openstack, CEPH, K8S, Hashicorp tools (Vault/Consul/Terraform)</li><li>Programming Languages: Golang, RUST</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What You Can Expect From Us:</strong></p><ul><li>An environment where you will be working on cutting edge technologies and architectures</li><li>A fun, passionate and collaborative workplace</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits, including equity</li><li>The pace and excitement of working for a Silicon Valley Unicorn</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p><p><strong>Why Zscaler?</strong><br/><br/>People who excel at Zscaler are smart, motivated and share our values.
