About the Role

The Maintenance Program and Planning team is responsible for service capacity planning, pre-service new vehicle fleet introduction, vehicle platform lifecycle analysis and cost optimization, bundling and scheduling all service, analyzing budget to actual, configuration management, and identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives. We work very cross functionally with engineering, service, central planning, and program teams to achieve our objectives. With the shift from purely R&D to a commercial business the emphasis is on cost efficiency, scaling our operations with thoughtful planning, and programs to optimize asset utilization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with central planning, engineering, GM, and others to ensure we're on track to meet our targets
  • Capacity planning, analytical modeling, and problem solving: Model projections of Maintenance plans with different scenarios in Google Sheets for reporting and decision making
  • Partner with HW, Release, Service, and Operations teams to strategically batch fleet configuration updates
  • Contribute to a cohesive plan that balances and prioritizes all of Cruise’s fleet maintenance
  • Help identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities

What you must have:

  • Safety first approach
  • Experience with maintenance or production planning
  • Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred
  • Strong work ethic and excitement to collaborate across many cross functional teams
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and frequent adjustments to plans
  • Self starter & skilled problem solver

Bonus points!

  • Proficiency in garnering action without authority
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Management consulting experience

The salary range for this position is $119,100 - 175,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
