About the role
Our partner in Manchester, NH is seeking a Accounting Operations Senior Manager to manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have a laser focus on providing exceptional customer service experience and will lead a small team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, manage, and lead a team of AP and AR professionals and supplemental/temporary staff members
- Engage staff in career management and professional development
- Manage, review, and approve daily AP and AP transactions and functions
- Align AR and AP objectives with accounting department goals
- Create and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to improve credit collections
- Actively review, analyze, and recommend internal control improvements that increase accuracy and improve efficiency
- Regularly communicate, support, advise, and train Strategic Sourcing, organizations Programs, IT, Development, and other departments regarding proper accounting processes/procedures and donation recording
- Actively participate in cross functional collaboration, with IT, Programs, and Development teams, in support of scaled organizational growth
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts, provide various analysis, prepare journal entries and various audit/990 schedules
Requirements
- BA/BS in related discipline, 5 years of directly related experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory/people management experience
- Knowledgeable with proper security and confidentiality procedures
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and Teams
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP tools and integrated financial systems preferred
- Salesforce and Concur experience preferred
