What the job involves:
We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Project Coordination to join our team. In this role, you will learn construction project management fundamentals, process improvement methodologies, and collaborative project delivery techniques.
As a Summer Intern in Project Coordination at JLL, you will:
• Create and maintain project schedules: Ensure all tasks are accurately assigned and deadlines are met across construction project lifecycles
• Facilitate effective communication: Coordinate between team members, stakeholders, and management to keep all parties informed of project updates and changes
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation: Organize requirements, reports, and progress updates ensuring accuracy and accessibility
• Assign and track task completion: Support team members with deliverables and provide assistance to ensure timely project completion
• Support project financial and administrative functions: Review budgets, vendor proposals, and invoices while ensuring adherence to vendor agreements and financial processes

Education, Skills, and Experience
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed, majoring in Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or Accounting
• Strong communication and presentation skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with customer service abilities
• Independent work capability: Ability to demonstrate initiative and collaborate effectively across multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office proficiency: Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
• Commercial real estate interest: Enthusiasm for property management and gaining broad Commercial Real Estate experience
• Detail-oriented mindset: Organized, creative, proactive, and self-motivated attitude with previous accounting, construction, or real estate support experience preferred
