Encompass Wraparound
Nationally-recognized, evidence-based program known for its success supporting Probation-involved youth and their families to better communicate, process trauma, and develop skills needed to thrive in the community. Services follow the 10 Principals of Wraparound, and offer an intensive menu of mental health, skill-building, and community-linkage services. Sessions are scheduled according to families’ preferences and needs, and are provided in English and Spanish. Program funded by Juvenile Probation and County Behavioral Health; some services are billed through MediCal.
JOB SUMMARY:
Encompass is hiring for an inspired, dedicated, and experienced leader to manage programs serving Probation-involved youth and families. The Wraparound & Youth Re-Entry Program Manager position is full-time/part-time negotiable, and works alongside a licensed clinical supervisor who provides mental health supervision.. The Wraparound & Youth Re-Entry Program Manager provides program and staff oversight, ensures compliance with contracted outcomes, and maintains highly collaborative relationships with Juvenile Probation and County Behavioral Health departments. The ideal youth manager has both administrative oversight experience as well as working knowledge of systems-involved families, especially Juvenile Probation. This position will also include guiding the team and program through the Wraparound High Fidelity Credentialing Process.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight of program performance, including meeting and reporting contracted outcomes, program model development, and adherence to model fidelity.
- Oversight of contracts, and funder reports.
- Provide support and oversight to direct services staff who provide therapeutic and case management support to youth and families involved with the Probation system.
- Work with Program Assistant and Clinical Supervisor to maintain documentation compliance and contracted outcomes
- Collaborate closely with County partners and other service providers to ensure quality of care.
- Ensure program is operating within Wraparound Standards and meeting Fidelity
- Represent Encompass at Collaborative Statewide Wraparound meetings/sessions
REQUIREMENTS
- BA degree (MA preferred) in management, psychology, or related field.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- At least 4 years’ experience working with systems-involved youth and families
- Very strong computer literacy and writing skills
- Knowledge of Santa Cruz County Community Resources
- Proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- People of color or those with lived experience are encouraged to apply
- Criminal Record Clearance, Physical Examination and TB Test clearance prior to official hire
