Full job description

Hopebridge Recovery is seeking an Medical Director for their outpatient substance use treatment program in Doylestown, PA. The program provides PHP, IOP, and OP services to adults (18+).

The Medical Director leads, manages, and supervises the medical team and assures the highest quality of patient care at the lowest cost, including comprehensive evaluations, patient consultations, and medication management to an ethnically diverse patient population. The medical director works directly with the Clinical Director and the Nurse Practitioner to support a true multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide administrative oversight of the facility’s medical services.
• Assists the Executive Director and Nurse Practitioner of the facility in the development and maintenance of written objectives, policies, a procedure manual, an organization plan and quality assurance program for medical services, and review of all medical policies and procedures at least annually.
• Ensuring that medical services are coordinated and integrated with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client.
• Ensuring that the facility complies with required medical staffing patterns.
• Providing supervision, consultation, and peer review of the facility’s physicians or nurse practitioners
• Maintains and enhances the highest standards of health care delivery to all patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Unrestricted MD or DO in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and licensed or license eligible by the State of PA.
• ASAM/ABAM certification preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience related to the above describe duties.
• Experience in addiction medicine is preferred.
