Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our lead generation initiative, INTouch. The Food Product Management team are responsible for identifying new product opportunities, validating value propositions, assessing performance, and developing long-term strategic plans for future product lines.

The Senior Product Manager will work with a range of senior internal stakeholders to align product vision and deliverables, and works closely with customers to understand complex needs & priorities, develop a clear and compelling product vision and strategy aligned with their needs, bringing products from concept to reality.

This role sits within the Informa Markets Food EMEA family and is primarily responsible for:

  • Market & Customer Analysis: Conducting in-depth market and customer research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape which will uncover new insights to drive winning customer value propositions strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with Sr. Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Data and Technology development teams to ensure the product strategy aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing the long-term vision and strategy for a product. Generate new product ideas and turn them into viable customer value propositions. Identify market opportunities and define how they will evolve over time.
  • Team Collaboration & Management: Working closely with the core product team including user research, data analyst, product design and a product manager as a direct report.
  • Value Proposition Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap, outlining the vision, direction, priorities, features and enhancements based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse the performance of the customer value propositions, adjusting the strategy as needed based on feedback and market changes.
  • Budget Management: Contributing to the budget process, revenue forecasting and effectively managing costs.
  • Pipeline Development: Continuously building a pipeline of product opportunities and experiments.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Knowledge of emerging and existing technologies, with a strong understanding of industry standards and approaches.
  • Experience developing and successfully launching at least 1 new software products /services. Preferably within legacy companies
  • Experience in co-developing value propositions with customers.
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen and a deep understanding of the markets and customer needs.
  • Experience structuring and solving product problems and influencing product decisions to move insights to action.
  • Experience running exploratory and refining experiments. This should include using frameworks like A/B testing, prototyping methods, and running pilots to gather fast feedback and drive decisions using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels – from senior leaders to project team members.
  • Experience working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and open to new challenges.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in the B2B food ingredients and nutraceutical verticals.
  • Experience and qualifications of working within and driving Agile processes.
