We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

What you need to know about the role

As a Software Engineer on our modernization team, you'll be contributing to the core platform that powers our developers ability to use agentive AI to modernize legacy codebases. This role involves more than just coding—it's about enabling innovation by integrating the latest technologies, creating common solutions, and solving widespread challenges.

Meet our team

Modernization offers our developers the framework necessary to not only work on legacy code, but to customize their experience through the SDLC process. Initially, focus will be on creation of a platform and completing the needed conversions but will soon transition to the larger platform readiness. This is a new team that is pulling in the best and brightest across the org to work with a new technology in order to push our developer community to new heights.

Your day to day

As part of the design team, you will work with outside consultants and internal architects and product teams to determine the ultimate platform needs that suit our use cases best. In our Scrum team, you’ll be an integral part of daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and discussions, collaborating closely with your teammates to drive projects forward. You'll participate in code reviews, offering feedback and learning from others to continuously improve code quality. Each day, you’ll be balancing hands-on coding with collaboration, all while growing as a developer in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What do you need to bring

  • Strong Java Skills: 3-5 years of experience with Java, including Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

  • Java Fundamentals: Deep understanding of Java's runtime, memory structure, and garbage collection algorithms.

  • AI/ML concepts and best practices: Familiarity with industry standard concepts and use cases. Understanding of the agentive/agentic workf
