Sr. Data Engineer. Corewell Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Duties:
1) Develop and deploy ELT/ETL processes across multiple sources, targets and tools;
2) Communicate with data consumers to improve processes connecting to data.
3) Develop and deploy self-service reporting assets to provide data exploration capabilities to end users;
4) Develop, create and modify data ingestion pipelines and workflows that align with technical specifications.
Requires: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related., plus 60 months of experience as a Data Engineer, Applications Developer, Computer Systems Engineer, or related. Will also accept Master's and 2 years of experience.
Experience must include one year in the health care or health insurance industry, including:
1) designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational and dimensional databases;
2) Data wrangling;
3) Data visualization using Tableau; and
4) Utilizing Snowflake, AWS, SQL, shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server and TOAD, Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Git, Jira, SAFe, DBT, and SDLC. Telecommuting permitted from within the US.
