Micron’s BU & Segment Marketing team within the Global Communications and Marketing organization (GCM) is seeking a manager to lead product launches for the team. This role will involve leading the strategy and coordination of product launches. Duties include establishing the go-to-market plan working with our business units, leading input into the plan from various customers, establishing a work back calendar with major achievements to drive launch success, leading the reporting out process. Additional responsibilities include leading launch coordination across the BU & Segment Marketing team – establishing a weekly launch dashboard for executives, running our disclosure calendar, leading a cross-team meeting to align launches, maintaining our launch playbook and owning the launch budget!
The ideal candidate will have semiconductor proven experience and a shown ability to lead integrated launches across multiple workstreams and collaborators and content development!

Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with segment and business unit owners to establish appropriate launch timing across yearly launch calendar
- Schedule, lead agenda and host weekly launch scrums across major business units integrating both key GCM teams and BU representatives
- Establish plan for launches and work with segment owners, business unit and GCM teams to complete
- Lead GCM input process into plans – remind of deadlines, ensure content matches encouraged output and includes tactical plan, budget, KPIs
- Establish a workback calendar including major milestones and deadlines for each launch
- Through launch meetings, own the workback calendar to ensure launches are on track and deliverables are not being dropped
- Own the report out process, including setting up the template and ensuring other GCM teams complete
- Lead any budgeting needs relating to launches
- Maintain yearly coordinated product launch calendar and send bi-weekly to stakeholders
- Establish and lead weekly report out to executives on launch status
- Serve as launch scrum lead for BU and Segment Marketing team – hosting weekly meeting for data center, embedded, mobile and PC client launches and ensure alignment across BSM team
- Serve as central owner for launch playbook and detailing any needed process improvement
- Re-work things like launch survey and post-launch report template as needed
- Work with project managers to compile quarterly launch survey stats
Education and Qualifications:
- Have experience leading and running coordinated product launches, preferably in the technology industry
- Have knowledge of the semiconductor industry (specifically memory and storage) and understand key audiences across data center, client, mobile and embedded
- A shown ability to craft and refine narrative messaging
- Be efficient in using Microsoft Office/365 tools, specifically: Word, Excel, PPT and Teams
- Be familiar with content management systems, experience with Workfront a plus
- Demonstrate strong project management and time management skills, with excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to details
- Can develop cross-functional communication and establish relationships with diverse partners and colleagues
- Have experience in a large, fast growing, fast paced company and/or in the high-tech sector, experience working with external partners is a plus
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$103,000.00 - $232,500.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
