Bartender/Server

Description

• Bartender oversees the operation of Bar at the restaurant
• Conduct checks to ensure that enough product is on hand to serve customers.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control.
• Manage bar staff and oversee drink orders and preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of employees, equipment, compliance reporting.
• Working environment is outdoors.
• Working environments will be subject to varying degrees of summer heat during park schedule May to September.
• Follow Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) & Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) standards.
• Ensure Proper checking of identification to make sure that only guests over the age of 21 are served or in control of alcohol beverages.
• Maintain established quality assurance procedures to ensure health department and customer service standards.
• Maintain & support facility policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Exhibit positive team culture and high levels of productivity and employee engagement.
• Ensuring that all equipment used is in safe working order, checked regularly and any faults reported to management.
• Handles cash sales and credit card transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures, ringing all sales into the POS register.
• Provides great customer service by interacting with guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year Bar Beverage experience preferred.
• Adaptability.
• Oral communication.
• Decisions-making.
• High energy level, ability to multi-task.
• Current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) card
