What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace. The Specialist Change Management is responsible for all reporting and document control related tasks in the plant engineering department.

The essence of this role is to:

  • Coordinate and oversee the contracts adjustment to changes and claims of all construction contracts and the technical documents for awards and amendments by purchasing and construction management vendor in compliance with existing guidelines, standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and purchasing regarding contract language to bring in the construction technical perspective
  • Assist shop leads to evaluate contractual obligations of vendors
  • Coordinate and oversee the creation of overarching reports, presentations, documents of schedules, budget and quality by construction management vendor
  • Control and organize of project documents e.g. contracts, communication, change management, specifications and drawings according to audit guidelines

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events, and eventual collocation at a Scout Motors office. Applicants should be based in the U.S. and able to convene in person with Scout colleagues and be able to travel to participate in meetings on behalf of the company. This role is based in South Carolina.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years professional experience with expertise in plant construction/factory planning
  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in related field. Construction management, civil engineering, building engineering, economical engineering, industrial engineering preferred
  • Contribute extensive knowledge of construction contracts, their administration and change management
  • Communicative and integrative personality and skillset
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary, diverse and international team
