As a Security Officer Full Time - HWY 225 in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to restricted areas, follow site entry requirements, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas, reporting hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
