Pricing Analyst/Subcontracts Administrator

About the role
Definitive Logic is seeking a Pricing Analyst/Subcontractor administrator to join our team. This position is a highly visible role within our Growth Team and works closely with our executive leadership, contracts, pricing, solutioning, business development team, the Capture Center of Excellence (CCOE), and Proposal Center of Excellence (PCOE). Duties are performed within a team environment with a focus on quality and excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Assist with full life cycle (“cradle-to-grave”) subcontracts management and pricing activities in support of Definitive Logic’s (DL) growth goals, strategic initiatives, and service offerings· Assist with pricing and subcontract data-calls, preparing cost narrative, assist with developing the initial basis of estimate, monitoring the execution of various subcontracting agreements (i.e. NDA, Teaming Agreements, Workshare Acknowledgement, Letters of Commitment, Rate Cards), ensuring compliance, resolving issues, coordinating among key stakeholders, and analyzing solicitations (for contractual risk and pricing requirements)· Can assist and assume responsibility for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, price-to-win analysis, and cost narrative· Analyze estimates of complex labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs· Interfaces with the capture manager, practice director, human resource director, proposal operations including (writers and technical personnel) in the preparation of the cost proposal· Create/administer pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization· Support Contracts Manager to provide cradle-to-grave subcontracts support. Responsible for pre-award activities such as interfacing with the Contracting Officer or Prime Contractor, negotiating NDAs and TAs, participating in proposal reviews, providing risk assessments, recommending mitigation approaches, and negotiating price, terms, and conditions with clients· Post-award actions involve interpreting subcontracting contract terms and handling subsequent issues as well as attending client meetings, IPRs, PMRs, etc· Participate in proposal reviews ensuring compliance and quality· With assistance from the Practice Director, reviews and resolves all issues effecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of contracts administration and/or pricing development and analysis experience
- Intermediate to expert level with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient writing skills with 1 year of cost narrative development and writing experience
- Intermediate knowledge of FAR/DFAR
- Working knowledge of all types of contracts (T&M,LH, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis.
- Analytical ability to evaluate issues, develop options for resolution, determine the best approach and enact
- Collaborative, team-first mindset with ability to interact with all levels of company leadership and program personnel
- Knowledge of system integration and the use of IT and advanced business intelligence systems and tools
- Extreme attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree; or a Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 6 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data)
