Position Summary-

The Mental Health Care Coordinator will assist in scheduling and benefits coordination, helping to assure care continuity for each family seeking mental health support both short term and long term.

Position Requirements-
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related field and at least 3 years related and applied experience in a mental health field, or Master's degree preferred and if Masters then no experience required but related mental health experience still preferred.
Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and appropriate clinical interventions, as well as knowledge of mental health insurance preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills so as to maintain strong, positive relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Adequate writing skills so as to complete forms, reports, and other written materials.
Demonstrated strong and creative problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of computer and keyboard, Microsoft Window and basic word processing skills.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
