Sr. Research Data Analyst

The Tobacco omics team at the Bloomberg School of Public Health is hiring a Sr. Research Data Analyst to provide research and analytic support on several projects. The Sr Research Data Analyst will work closely with the Principal Investigator.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee tax, price, and other related data for multiple low- and middle-income countries based on experience with relevant data and large datasets.
• Design and execute complex statistical and econometric analyses.
• Author/co-author data tables, figures, and reports for publication as internal and external research documents, such as presentations, policy briefs, factsheets, write papers, and manuscripts.
• Speak at or attend meetings and conferences on behalf of team/JHU.
• Review and provide technical feedback on research reports, manuscripts and other materials prepared by our international partners
• Other duties as assigned.

*This is a full-time position that is 100% remote.

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with a team.

• Master's Degree in Global Health Economics or a related field of study.
• One-year related experience. Require highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.
• Demonstrated ability on significant graduate project or additional doctoral education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

• Experience working with international governmental organizations.
• Typically require PhD.

Starting Salary Range: $55,200 - $96,600 Annually (Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
