Export Customer Service Specialist (M/F/D)

The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a detail-oriented Export Customer Service Specialist to provide assistance to Export Customers. You will be dealing with support, releasing, pricing and quoting along with the legacy export Israel customers (reviewing of orders/queries/releasing), as well as supporting the wider team with the creation of customer credits and debits, along with being other team members out of office's when required.

This role will be a hybrid role, Bucharest, 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, high attention to detail and organisation skills.

The team

The Export Customer Service Specialist will be part of a wider Team of 5.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: At least 3 years experience in an administrative/customer service role preferably within export/logistics
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and team working skills.
• Ability to work and collaborate with senior leadership across a variety of functions.
• Language: Fluent English & Roumanian essential
• Collaboration tool: MS Office programs in particular Excel & Word, SAP & Power BI advantageous but not essential
   

How you will thrive and create an impact

Keeping customers up to date with orders, invoices and deliveries

Processing orders and quotes in a timely manner

Responding to enquiries within 2 days to resolve pricing discrepancies

Checking the backlog of orders, to collaborate with the lab team and updating daily price figures.
Keep up to date on back order reports, supplier restrictions and the OEM products

Updating pricing and delivery requests.
