Description
Here we grow again! ARC Health is a Mental Health Managed Service Organization looking to hire an experienced corporate and real estate attorney to join its team! Ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in wide ranging corporate, business and real estate matters. Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred. Approximately 20 hours per week.
The experienced candidate will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, independent contractor agreements, consulting agreements, commission/fee agreements, employment agreements.
- Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions including lease agreements, sub-leases and the like.
- Must be able to structure and negotiate complex business and real estate transactions as well as working closely with team of real estate professionals to identify, acquire, and develop new office spaces for growth opportunities
- Draft corporate documents including operating agreements, subscription agreements, resolutions and other ancillary documents.
- Works with the Chief Administrative Officer as well as a team of outside attorneys on various legal matters and may coordinate representation.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will have:
- Strong corporate law experience
- Strong transactional experience, with a focus on corporate and real estate transactions.
- Strong experience negotiating, reviewing and drafting transactional documents.
- Strong experience handling transactions from start to finish.
- Builds collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to have crucial conversations involving the proper stakeholders with tact and decorum.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity and ever-changing timelines and business assumptions.
- Organizes and manages the work and resources to optimize productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Meets deadlines and clearly communicates expectations
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to abide by ethical guidelines and policies, including strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually
- Ability to prioritize and execute deliverables in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to a state bar
- At least three (3) years of commercial real estate experience
- Multi-state real estate experience
- MSO or ASO experience is preferred
