FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: $23-$28 D.O.E. + Benefits

Shift: Nightshift (12.5% shift differential added to base pay)

Summary: 

The Shipping Lead is responsible for leading the team’s execution of deliveries, receiving purchase orders, data entry, and team management. This role is critical in ensuring deliveries are made on time, trucks are received upon arrival, and all data is entered into our computer software program. The Shipping Lead will preach safety and have a sense of servant leadership to keep team morale high while meeting expectations

Responsibilities:

• Drive positive team morale
• Train receivers to ensure purchase orders (PO’s) are received with accuracy and speed
• Stress safety in the workplace
• Follow delivery appointments for set jobs
• Inventory control and data entry      
• Follows all company policies and procedures 
• Complete and demonstrate a full understanding of ongoing training concepts and applications 
• In addition to the essential functions and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for: 
• Emulates the Runbeck values in daily interactions with internal and external customers
• Meet company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures. 
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments while maintaining regular and timely attendance

Physical requirements: 

• Possess the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Talk and hear, both in person and by telephone

Safety Requirements:

• Immediately report incidents involving  injury, illness, property, or equipment damage 
• Comply with all company and customer OSHA, safety policies, procedures, rules, and best practices 
• Report any unsafe task, operation, or safety hazards immediately 
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training
