Kitchen Refrigeration Tech

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, responsible for performing journeyman level trade work in the areas of Carpentry, Display Construction, and electrical and mechanical to ensure upkeep, appearance and functionality of facility.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain and repair mechanical & refrigeration equipment, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
2. Repair, and maintain equipment such as any Kitchen and refrigeration
3. Respond to customer requests for maintenance assistance in order to provide courteous, timely and expert service.
4. Assist in the installation, removal or relocation of kitchen and refrigeration equipment, in accordance with established priorities.
5. Examine and perform planned maintenance checks on various types of kitchen and refrigeration equipment according to established schedules under supervision, in order to ensure that potential problems are fixed before equipment becomes dysfunctional.
6. Perform planned maintenance including but not limited to; mechanical units, kitchen equipment and building systems

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license
• Demonstrated successful journeyman level experience and/or training
• Ability to obtain a valid EPA refrigerant handlers Card
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and be experienced in building management systems. 
• A Stationary Engineers license is desirable but not required.
• Must be proficient in one or more of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and/or electrical
• Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.

 

 

These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and 5 years related experience and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
