As a Senior Buyer for Manufacturing Equipment & Services, you will manage all indirect spending for your assigned sites and categories. By implementing approved sourcing strategies within the company’s requirements and guidelines, you will ensure the achievement of all agreed-upon goals with the Business Unit and Group functions, contributing to the overall success of dsm-firmenich.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all stakeholders on the site(s) and support them using dsm-firmenich contracts, executing competitive bids, spot buying, or coordinating specification-sourcing processes towards category management.
- Define the relevant sourcing approach, aligned with the sourcing strategies for local spend, and prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection, and contracting processes for regional/local spend.
- Lead contract implementation, potential localization, and resolve issues in close alignment with Category Managers, while managing contracts and proactively initiating renewals or new tenders for existing contracts.
- Develop and manage relationships with preferred/approved suppliers, track and develop their performance, and initiate and conduct supplier performance evaluations.
- Monitor the P2P process, ensuring compliance and performance.

You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years of procurement experience
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
- Strong proficiency in relevant systems and multitasking abilities
