What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager, you’ll be in a senior-level leadership position responsible for executing the bank's strategic plan and guiding your team in its efforts to meet the Bank's target goals.


You’ll be responsible for supporting the Asset Based Lending (ABL) teams by overseeing the Manager of Collateral Monitoring and the team of Collateral Monitoring Specialists as well as directing their efforts toward effectively and efficiently monitoring the underlying collateral supporting the outstanding balances on the asset-based loan facilities.
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading the growth and development of the team, executing the tactical strategy of the ABL Senior Director and facilitating the team’s contribution to and compliance with technical processes and requirements, risk mitigation, efficiency and customer service.

What we are looking for:

• Recruits, hires, trains and coaches a collateral team ensuring the ABL collateral information is accurate, correct and timely.

• Supports and collaborates with ABL RM’s, commercial bankers and other internal partners.

• Provides top tier customer service and support to all internal and external counterparties.

• Provides recommendations/solutions and “Best Practices” to ensure most efficient processes and procedures are in place.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge with ABLE, STUCKY or LUCAS ABL collateral monitoring system

• Fostering strong, healthy working relationships with executive and senior leaders in partner departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university and ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education related to the Asset Based Lending industry.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience managing an ABL collateral monitoring team.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Borrowing Base formula lending and the calculation of ineligibles.

• Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.

• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

• Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences.
