Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is looking for a Staff Accountant who shares a passion for excellence and who impart enthusiasm into everything they do. The Staff Accountant forms part of the Accounting team who audit and maintain the financial integrity of the hotel.
Responsibilities
Manages the office staff, including but not limited to Accounting clerks and Managers in Training. Trains and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations of staff when needed.
Responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
Primary responsibility is to maintain the hotel’s payroll system in order to ensure timely payment of wages according to Four Seasons Hotels policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes laws.
Supervising other department areas, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork. This may include some various evenings, weekends and holidays.
Some travel may be required (minimal).
Applicants are highly recommended to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance Management.
An Accounting or Hospitality Management Degree qualification is preferred, however, not essential with relevant experience.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
