Job Summary

PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 IT Intern for the SAP Modernization PMO – Technical Team

 

This job involves working as a(n) program intern for the program management office gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial, project, and operational data to uncover trends and drive smarter decision-making. The role involves building reports, creating visualizations, and contribute to process improvements by working closely with analysts and product owners.

 

This position will be Hybrid Fixed

Job Specific Qualifications

The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or Information Technology and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029. Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Incumbents must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.

 

Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required. 

 

Desired:

• 3.0 GPA
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with development of PowerBI dashboard for data visualization and analytics
• AWS/Cloud development experience
• Working experience with Programming Languages associated with SAP (Java, Node.js, Python ect, ABAP, REST, JSON,XML)
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Ability to document code, processes and configurations
• Understanding of Cyber Security Principles
• Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

 

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Incumbents are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship.
