Chef de Partie - W Prague

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional who is passionate about gastronomy and eager to develop their skills in a creative and supportive environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You will be responsible for managing your assigned section, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain smooth operations and contribute to the ongoing development of our menu.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Take ownership of a specific section (e.g., grill, fish, pastry, garnish) and ensure it runs efficiently.
• Supervise and train Commis Chefs, supporting their growth and performance.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.
• Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal specials, and creative plating.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and hygiene regulations.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of modern cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, reliable, and flexible team player with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for food, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
