Not only will you be joining an exciting organisation at an exciting time, but this role will give you full autonomy to help shape our design function and put user-centered design at the forefront of our business.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Champion User-Centered Design</strong>: Create intuitive, engaging and accessible digital experiences by understanding restaurant owner and customer needs, ensuring their perspectives are reflected in your designs.</li> <li><strong>Craft Impactful Solutions</strong>: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that blend form and function to create solutions that drive key business outcomes.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate and Innovate</strong>: Work closely with cross-functional teams, challenge ideas, and advocate for innovative design solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in restaurant tech.</li> <li><strong>Own the Design System</strong>: Play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across our many digital touchpoints.</li> <li><strong>Build the Culture</strong>: Mentor your peers, promote design thinking across the organisation and foster a culture of creativity and user-centric innovation.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What makes you a great fit</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Design Expertise</strong>: You have advanced knowledge of UX/UI design principles and tools. You're skilled in creating multimodal experiences, screens, apps, and more.</li> <li><strong>Content design</strong>: You excel at crafting compelling content and copy that boosts product appeal, engages users effectively, and drives sales. You're eager to share these skills to upskill the design team.</li> <li><strong>Hands-On and Self-Motivated</strong>: You are self-driven and capable of working independently across multiple tasks.
