03/09/20265406 Hwy 280Ste D107, Hoover, Alabama, 35242-6597, United States of AmericaSr. IT Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring technical controls meet information security policy requirements; security policy education, training, and awareness activities; monitoring compliance in accordance with DaVita’s information security policy’s and applicable laws; and coordinating investigation and reporting of security incidents. In conjunction with DaVita Core IT Services, the analyst will monitor, assess, and fine-tune applicable IT security procedures, perform periodic systems, network and application vulnerability assessments and create actionable changes or recommendations based on risk assessment reviews or audit findings. Senior analyst is also responsible for mentoring other security analysts and IT teammates globally, as well as, being a subject matter expert in one or more technology domains (Infrastructure, applications development, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and manages security for more than one IT functional area (e.g., data, systems, network and/or Web) across the enterprise.
Develop and publish Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements.
Prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
Responsible for the tracking and monitoring of IT security incidents through to remediation.
Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions, updates, and maintains and documents security controls.
Involved in the evaluation of products and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Provides direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues.
Educates IT and the business about security policies and consults on security issues
Represents the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all IT projects with regard to security issues.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $70,000.00 - $106,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position
