The College of Business & Technology at Rockhurst University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Successful candidates will be able to teach a variety of mathematics courses at the undergraduate level. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach pre-calculus and calculus.
A master’s degree in a related discipline is required. Experience with online and hybrid teaching is preferred. The teaching load is 21 credit hours per year. Faculty members in the College of Business & Technology are expected to reside in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

Position Requirements
- A master’s degree in mathematics or related discipline is required.
- Specialized mathematics expertise required.
- Ability to teach a variety of mathematics courses.
- Evidence of scholarly and creative ability.
- Evidence of community service.
- Evidence of effective college service.
- 1-2 years prior teaching experience in higher education preferred.
- Evidence of commitment to the mathematics profession.
- Evidence of commitment to scholarly work, service and teaching.
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team professionally and confidentially.

The position begins in August 2025, and the salary is commensurate with skills and experience. The position offers a full benefits package. Review of applications will begin July 23.
