What You’ll Do:OverviewWe’re looking to hire a Director of Operations with a genuine passion for leading the Clinical Development and Strategy aspects of across all therapeutic areas that CRO team operates within. Our Director of Operations will be responsible for scaling Vial's clinical trial operations team to deliver on timelines and quality.
Vial is a tech-enabled, next-generation CRO that promises higher quality and faster execution of trials powered by a network of partnered clinics and Vial’s technology platform.
This role is fully remote, based anywhere in the US. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sponsorship to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Build a team that features leaders in PM and Biometrics as well as a core team of CRAs, Data Managers and Biostatisticians. - Ensure that a high bar is maintained in the expanded team.- Design and implement a system to operate an operationally excellent Clinical Delivery organization. - Achieve operational excellence through systems, processes and KPI tracking to drive accountability.- Support Business Development in the sales process with Clinical Development/Strategy insights (trial design, common pitfalls in the indication, KOLs to work with, recruitment strategies, etc.).- Prepare for General Capabilities presentations including reviewing company development programs, therapeutic market intelligence and past trial experience- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with sponsor clients- Anticipate client needs and identify solutions to needs from Vial’s capabilities.
What You'll Bring:- 2+ years of work experience in business operations, investment banking, or strategy consulting; preferably in the healthcare and/or technology sectors- Ability to move fast, and manage the multiple simultaneous workstreams common in a startup environmentThe annual base salary is $190,000 - $210,000, based on a local (San Francisco) hire. Final offer amount will depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
