<h2><b>Career Category</b></h2>Supply Chain<h2></h2><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p><b>Overview:</b></p><p>Working in ADL’s Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for translating the master production schedule (MPS) into a feasible and accurate short-term detail schedule for a fixed time period, ensuring on time availability of product, whilst taking known constraints and planning parameters into account. Alongside this, the Short-Term Planner will:</p><ul><li>Provide key production planning information to support ADL's integrated business planning (IBP) processes within the 0-13 week time horizon.</li><li>Work closely with the area's finite scheduler and product planner providing timely and accurate information to ensure the generation of feasible production schedules.</li><li>Is responsible for local weekly and monthly planning processes.</li><li>Is responsible for reporting out key KPI's for ADL planning.</li><li>Facilitate weekly scheduling and capacity review meetings with production, QA, warehouse, and process development departments.</li><li>Ensure a feasible plan and release plan for the manufacturing areas.</li></ul><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Is responsible for the short-term executional planning process in their assigned area, which support the site’s execution in Amgen’s S&amp;OP process (Planning cycle).  Local processes include production planning, line scheduling, and shipment planning.</li><li>Continuously identifies opportunities for system and process improvements and uses operational excellence (OpEx) and project management skills to implement changes.</li><li>Report ADL short-term planning performance metrics for their assigned area.</li><li>At times may be asked to present information, analyses, and provide recommendations to management.</li><li>Articulate and highlight key master production schedules changes to the MPS lead.</li><li>Provide planning SME knowledge to support NC/CAPA investigations.</li><li>Manage and monitor SAP / RR transactions to support production plan, capacity analysis, planning cycle and procurement activities.</li><li>Convert planned process orders to process orders and ensure a feasible plan.</li><li>Co-ordinate with the warehouse department to ensure availability of all components for the production line and the shipment of materials to ensure market supply.</li><li>Check component availability against the short-term plan.</li><li>Plan and coordinate repackaging activities (REDO) and Scrap requests.</li><li>SME for assigned tasks.</li><li>Support projects with technical mastery.</li><li>Own KPI reporting and coordinate relevant actions.</li><li>Create analysis in support of projects or improvements and provide recommendations.</li><li>Responsible for portfolio of commercial products, understanding all constraints and dependencies that impact planning activities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience.</li><li>Approximately 2-5yrs Planning experience in an industrial environment.</li><li>SAP ECC Planning Experience essential.</li><li>GMP Knowledge.</li><li>Familiar with S&amp;OP process.</li><li>Familiar with production planning concepts (Materials requirement planning, production scheduling).</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Master’s Degree or APICS certification.</li><li>Min 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.</li><li>Understanding of Class A principal’s desirable.</li><li>Planning system experience (Rapid Response RR/SAP).</li><li>Experience in Pharma production (Fill-finish).</li><li>QMTS</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge/Skills</b></p><ul><li>Understands basics of quality systems and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Effectively manages internal and external stakeholder relationships.</li><li>Adapts communication style and works effectively across multiple functions and sites.</li><li>Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely and make recommendations.</li><li>Maintains composure and direction in high pressure situations.</li><li>Effectively navigates through ambiguity to resolve issues.</li><li>Ability to work under minimal direction and independently develop solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional objectives.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p>.
