Job Purpose:

Optoro is building an online Knowledge Base to host product educational content for our users, with articles covering a range of topics including product overview, set-up, requirements and best practices. We are leveraging Zendesk Guide as the Knowledge Base platform, and are looking to have an MVP available for users by the end of Q1 2023. Our baseline set of product and technical documents is written in Google Docs and Confluence pages. 

This Technical Writer (contract) will work closely with our Professional Services, Product and Marketing teams to improve the existing documentation by converting it to high-quality Knowledge Base articles that can be consumed by users.

Responsibilities:

• Review and improve existing product documentation
• Develop the content hierarchy to organize the documentation into articles within the Knowledge Base
• Convert source documentation into high-quality, external-facing articles on the Knowledge Base
• Advise on best practices for article creation and maintenance 

Qualifications

• Experience writing technical documents and SaaS knowledge base articles
• Experience working with Enterprise SaaS companies
• Nice to Have
• Experience with Zendesk 
• HTML coding
