Job Description
The Denali Park Village HR & Payroll Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service to employees, managers, and the HR community in response to inquiries related to a broad range of HR-related topics, including but not limited to HR policy, staffing, benefits, and performance management. This position will perform administrative, transactional, and data/records management activities in support of HR and HRIS functions, including processing life-cycle transactions such as onboarding, status change, compensation, separations, etc.

Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within Aramark guidelines.
- Support employees with questions and issues around onboarding, navigating HR systems and pay questions.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with employee motivation, retention, activities and morale programs.
- Facilitate approximately 250 employee onboarding including training and orientation programs
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to listen to employee concerns and have outstanding analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Support HRM in day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist in processing payroll including reports, housing deductions, discrepancy investigations, auditing and filing.
- Notifies department managers of employees missed punches and/or errors.
- Accurately inputs data corrections, tip allocations, tip charges, housing charges, etc.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
- Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Ability to arrive at work on time and dressed professionally.
Qualifications
- Experience working in administrative type role
- Experience in human resources or related field preferred
- Strong computer/technical skills including use of Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- Knowledge of HR concepts and terminology
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Effective listening skills
- Solid ability to grasp information quickly and probe optimally when required
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize requests and duties
- Attention to detail
- Effective research, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
