The Senior Manager, Benefits collaborates within the People Team and other departments throughout the organization providing the Benefit, Leave, Health and Safety strategy for the organization.
The Senior Manager, Benefits is responsible for the annual benefits open enrollment as well as benefits compliance such as ACA, Plan notices, COBRA, invoice payment, etc.). The position is also responsible for the worker’s compensation program, safety program and OSHA compliance. The Senior Manager, Benefits is responsible for leave administration and compliance with local and federal laws.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
Work Experience
- Five years of benefits analyst experience required.
- Two years of supervisory experience required.
- Health care experience in multi-state analysis preferred.
- Experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives required.
- Benefits experience preferred.
- Experience using Excel required.
- Workday experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- CCP, PHR or SPHR or other Human Resource Certification preferred
