Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for staff development, supervising the Restorative CNAs and the restora-tive program. Also, ensuring the assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation of all educational re-quirements for the Healthcare nursing staff. Additionally, he/she will be tasked with creating, implementing, and managing comprehensive training initiatives while acting as a subject matter expert on training matters.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure Healthcare staff adhere to licensure, CPR, TB, and FIT testing requirements, maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee files, updating records and ensuring compliance with HR policies, including documentation of disciplinary actions.
• Review and approve timecards for direct reports, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
• Support state survey readiness, assist with quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to staff development strategies.
• Assist the ADON with infection control measures, ensuring adherence to best practices within Healthcare.
• Develop and oversee training programs for newly hired staff while conducting annual competency assessments.
• Organize and lead educational sessions, fostering continuous learning and professional growth among staff.
• Research, design, and deliver training programs using diverse instructional techniques, such as simulations, team exercises, role-playing, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
• Manage and implement training across all three clinical shifts, ensuring educational needs are met and maintaining a culture of professionalism.
• Directly supervise restorative CNAs, providing guidance, ensuring proper patient care, and facilitating professional growth.
• Lead weekly restorative meetings, oversee monthly documentation for patients receiving restorative services, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Perform other duties assigned to support organizational objectives and patient care excellence.
Qualifications
Education and experience required:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• 3+ in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse within the last five years.
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: $35-$40 an hour
