Job Title: Advanced Data Analytics Lead 

Location: Maryland - Hybrid

Salary: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00; compensation based on years of relevant professional experience, related skill set and educational background.

AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly collaborative and experienced Advanced Data Analytics Lead to provide expert leadership and guidance to our federal government client, USCIS, supporting the Office of Chief Data Officer (OCDO) and the Office of Performance Quality (OPQ). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall development of data models and algorithms to support machine learning and other data science research efforts. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics or related degree
• 5+ years of professional experience leading data modeling, data science, algorithm development and automation efforts
• Experience leading analytics teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Expertise in statistical analysis and modeling techniques, including network analysis
• Demonstrated programming skills in languages such as Python, R or SAS
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or similar
• Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and graph databases
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience using cloud-based data and analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with enterprise data architectures, analytics platforms and reporting tools
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and align data initiatives with organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• USCIS background and client experience
• Master's degree in data science, statistics or ML
• Certification in data science or analytics
• Knowledge of federal data policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, OMB M-19-18, Federal Data Strategy).

Duties:

• Oversee analytics activities and projects across the program and ensure alignment to agency strategy and goals. 
• Support the Agency’s need to discover answers to highly complex problems using data science techniques (e.g., graph data capabilities, entity resolution, advanced statistical and mathematical techniques, etc.).
• Develop methods for automatically revealing insights to support data-driven decision making (e.g., incorporating model results with business intelligence products to help viewers discover pattern and direction of production).
• Maintain existing, and solve new and ad hoc efforts in data science, AI/ML modeling, and graph database use.
• Lead and mentor staff supporting analytics activities.
• Collaborate with operational teams supporting analytics products in production.
• Identify use cases to leverage automation, including automation in support of internal processes (including but not limited to Quality, Governance, and Data Visualization).
• Support automating analytical tasks and those processes that are highly repeatable so that staff may spend resources on more complex work that requires manual intervention (specifically, automation tools, platforms, or programs as provided by the Government).
