Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. By conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service, you will contribute to a secure environment while supporting those on-site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Help to deter incidents and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities to the appropriate contacts and complete necessary documentation.
• Assist in directing individuals during routine operations and/or emergency situations, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical facilities.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and first responders as required for incident response.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
