What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Sr Director, Strategic Finance to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future and driving sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the President & Chief Operating Officer, this leader will oversee  the development and execution of our long-term financial strategy, providing critical insights and recommendations to senior leadership. This individual will be a key partner in evaluating strategic initiatives, driving financial planning and analysis, and ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve our business objectives.

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development and execution of the company's long-term financial plans, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with executive leadership and business unit heads to understand their strategic priorities, providing financial insights and analysis to support their objectives and drive performance.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Investments: Evaluate the financial viability and strategic alignment of potential investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives, providing recommendations based on rigorous financial analysis.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast business performance, analyze key trends, and assess the impact of strategic decisions.
  • Capital Allocation: Oversee the development and execution of capital allocation strategies to maximize shareholder value and support the company's growth objectives.
  • Performance Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against strategic goals and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
  • Investor Relations Support: Collaborate with the team to provide financial insights and analysis for investor communications and presentations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.   
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and participate in various ad hoc financial and strategic projects as required by senior leadership.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration (or related discipline) 
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 8 years of experience
  • Background in investment banking, corporate development, or strategy consulting; fintech or banking experience preferred.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful long-term financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP) and corporate finance concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
