Annual Salary $36,429.90
Paid Bi-Weekly

Paid vacation and sick leave. Nine (9) paid holidays and personal day. Tuition waiver is available for State Universities and Community Colleges (up to 6 credits per semester).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including outlook.
- Must have basic or better computer skills.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Knowledge in preparing monthly work schedules, as well as staffing on three shifts.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must communicate effectively in English: speaking, writing, reading and understanding.
- Must successfully complete our employment screening process to include, but not limited to a drug test and fingerprinting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure that nursing staffing is maintained to provide care to the veteran according to FDVA staffing standard. and regulations governing State nursing homes.
- This position is under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Responsible for posting schedule. Maintain a daily posted assignment schedule for licensed nurses and CNA’s.
- Compile and maintain cumulative staffing reports.
- Record requested leave time.
- Record/maintain in-house time keeping records that have been approved by supervisor and/or verified with DON. Maintain records of sign in sheets.
- Compile and maintain PPD reports. Verify and compare PPD with time clock. Enter data into electronic folders.
- Post daily staffing numbers per State and Federal Regulations. Complete and submit monthly report to DON/designee on Agency utilization including justification for use (as provided by DON).
- Do time corrections daily and assist other departments as needed.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
