Overview:

Sentara Therapy Center Fort Norfolk, located in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant, interested in both the orthopedic and neurological population for Outpatient. Pelvic Health interest preferred

Overview

Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, and documenting treatment progress within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Education:

• Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required), obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
• Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure

Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA)
• RQI American Heart Association (AHA)
•  RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

Experience:

• 2 years
• Physical therapist assistant (PTA) education, obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
• Associate's Degree for Physical Therapy Assistant
• Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure
